Photo tip: Use a sharp, well-lit portrait of one person with their whole head, hair and shoulders visible. Leave a little space around the hair and avoid objects covering the face. The print shows the head and upper chest above the sunset horizon. Drag or resize each portrait in the preview; if background removal misses an edge, switch it off for a soft oval portrait.

Production and shipping

Every shirt is made to order. Printing takes about 1–3 business days, then standard shipping to the contiguous United States usually takes 5–9 business days (longer in peak season). This shirt does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the U.S.

Questions

How many people can appear in the sunset?
Add one to three photos, one person per photo. With three portraits, the first upload sits in the center and the others sit on either side. With two, the first upload sits on the right. Each portrait can be moved and resized in the preview.

Can I use words other than DAD?
Yes. Use a name or title up to 14 characters, including spaces. MAMA, THE SMITHS and BESTIES are examples. The optional line beneath it allows up to 24 characters; clear that field to hide the line and its decorative stripes. Both fields are shown in capitals.

Can I change the rainbow colors?
Yes. Sunset, Ocean, Grape and Lemon Lime each recolor the arcs, striped sun and lettering together. The live preview shows the selected theme on your chosen shirt color.

Is this a vintage shirt or a new print?
It is a new shirt with a retro-style print. The 70s look comes from the concentric rainbow arcs, striped sun, layered lettering and light worn-print texture.

Do you really remove the background for me?
Yes. The cutout happens in your browser as soon as you add a photo, and you see the result in the live preview. You can turn it off for any photo. Your photo is only uploaded when you add the shirt to your cart, and it is used to print your order.

Do you have women's and kids' sizes?
Yes. Choose Men (classic unisex fit, S to 5XL), Women (semi-fitted, S to 3XL) or Kid (youth fit, XS to XL) at the top of the page. The print is sized to suit the shirt, so kid and small sizes get a proportionally smaller print.

Which size should I order?
Open the Size guide next to the size options: it highlights your fit and size, and the size chart is also in the product photos. Measurements are the garment laid flat, give or take 1 inch. If you are between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit.

What kind of photo works best?
A sharp, well-lit photo. If it looks clear in the live preview, it will print clear. Photos smaller than about 900 pixels on the short side can look soft.

Can I see it before it prints?
Yes. You see a live preview of your photo and words on the shirt before you order, and the design is printed the way you see it.
